Best Way To Spend Your First Salary- Inspirational Story

When I was a child, like everyone I had my own plans for my first salary. I was born in middle class Indian family and I had to hold myself till I get my very first salary to fulfill my dreams.

I always thought what it likes to be on our own, I could buy whatever I want and the best thing nobody is going to ask how and why I brought this.

When I was in third year of my engineering, I heard a story which is hard to believe but it was so inspirational and I could stop myself to write about it.

One Of The Best Way To Spend Your Salary:

This story is about an Indian boy, who is not a politician, celebrity or a rich guy.  Still he did something which is quite inspiring . But before I tell this story, let me ask you one question:
"What will you do with your first salary ? I am sure you have few plans, please let us know in comment section."
This story is about an Indian boy named...well I don't know the name, so let just call him Mr. X :) :) :).
When this Mr. X got his first salary, just like any other people, he decided to celebrate it by throwing a party at McDowell.
It was a normal party with few special people, any guess, whom Mr X invited ?
He invited few homeless children who are not even allowed in the McDowell. What happened next will make you think again and again.

Best inspirational story

What Happened Next:

During Mr X's interview, he told the whole story and problems which he faced to throw a small party. I mean think about it, how hard it could be to give a party to few people at McDowell ? No idea, lets here it from Mr X.

Mr. X: When I decided to spend my first salary with homeless children, the first idea jumped into my mind was to take them to McDowell.
I collected as many as homeless children I can and took them to the McDowell. I asked these children to go inside the MCD and wait for me. And I went to park my bike.
When I came back, I saw everyone was standing outside the MCD, I asked what happened. They said, Guards are letting them in. I went to guards and ask whats the problem, and the I couldn't believe what I heard.

Guard 1: "Sir, these type of people are not allowed here ( pointing to the children to clear his statement)"
Mr. X : "Why is that"
Guard 2: "We have clear order to not let these people in"
Mr X got angry and asked,
Mr X: "What type of people, they are also human being, just like us"
Guard 1: "Sorry sir, but we have policy"
Mr X: "Okay, show me your policy, where it is written that children are not allowed"
Both guards are speechless and guard 2 rushed to the manager to seek help. Manager was already watching the whole scene and he was also speechless.
Anyway Manager didn't have any option, so he decided to let everyone in.

Funny Part :

Mr X asked children "what they want to eat", but children have no idea what MCD is all about. So they asked for Indian foods like "puri baji, bada paaw etc".
Mr X smiled and decided to order "Happy meal" for everyone.

Ordering Food: One More Problem

During the billing, Mr X wanted to pay by his credit card but that time MCD didn't accept cards in India, and they asked for Cash.

Mr X rushed to the nearest ATM to withdraw some cash. When he came back to the MCD, he saw children were standing outside the MCD once again and few of them were crying. This makes Mr X feel rejected and he wanted to punch both guards, but instead of doing anything stupid, he decided to talk to manager directly.

Mr. X: "What happened this time ?"

MCD Manager: "Sir, these children are disturbing the environment"

Mr. X got confused and thought may be they did something wrong.

Mr X: "I am sorry, but what did they do ?"

Manager: "Nothing, but the way they look is making few people uncomfortable"
Mr. X was speechless and didn't know what to say.
This time few people have complained that they don't want to eat when these type of homeless children are around.

Mr. X looked to the children and thought, nobody cares how they are feeling. Mr X stood on a chair and decided to say something to the people:

Mr X: "I know they don't look, dress or talk like you guys, but one thing is common between all of us, we all are human. If you can't make someone smile, try not to make them cry. I will make sure that they don't disturb you and your precise moment, please allow me to give a small party to these children."

Mr X statement was right and also effective. The person who compliant about these children, went to MCD manager and asked him to allow these children.

Once Mr X got permission from MCD manager, he asked everyone to come back inside. Mr X decided to choose corner sheets, so that nobody gets disturb.
Mr X and children spend few hours at MCD and people were watching them like they are character from few Avatar Movie :)

Why He Did This ?

Mr X has given his reasons for taking homeless children to MCD. He said:
1. I never wanted to waste my salary by making a donation to temple, because God don't need my money.
2. I thought, this way I can make few people smile.
3. I wanted to make these children feel accepted.
4. I wanted to inspire people to do something special with their first salary.
In my opinion, all these reasons are enough to inspire us to do something like Mr X.

How Much It Cost ?

Humanity and kindness doesn't cost anything. According to Mr X, It only cost him around 2000 INR ( around 33 $) to make dozen homeless smile and inspire hundreds of people.

Ending:

Hopefully you guys will like and share it so that more people can know about Mr X. and try to do something like him.
